Dr. Jason Langslet graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. His chiropractic journey began in 2007 when his first visit to a chiropractor drastically improved his athletic performance in Track & Field. It was not until he enrolled in chiropractic school that he was introduced to the NUCCA technique, but he has since developed an unmatched passion for this incredible work. While at Palmer, he spent much of his extracurricular time in the NUCCA club, as well as the Delta Sigma Chi professional chiropractic fraternity. He served a term as president in each of these organizations.
Aside from his time at school, Dr. Jason has spent his life in Mundelein, IL and feels fortunate to call the Chicagoland area his home. He aims to do his part in making NUCCA and spinal health well-known in the homes of thousands throughout Chicago. He believes that everyone deserves to experience life optimally and knows that specific upper cervical care is crucial to making this a possibility. Expect miracles!
Dr. Jason is one of only 30 Board Certified NUCCA doctors worldwide. He currently serves on the NUCCA Collegiate Curriculum Committee and enjoys being a mentor for other NUCCA doctors who are also working toward their board certification. His patients range in age from 11 months to 97-years-old. He has been privileged to help patients with a number of different conditions and health concerns such as: musculoskeletal conditions, headaches and migraines, vertigo/dizziness, memory issues, ADD/ADHD, digestive concerns, degenerative conditions, numbness and tingling, neurological dysfunction and many more.

Dr. Daiki Ishiyama DC, DCCJP
Board certified NUCCA and DCCJP Doctor
Dr. Daiki Ishiyama is the only NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association) specialist doctor in Asia and one of just 30 worldwide.
Specializing in identifying and correcting structural “misalignments” that affect the brainstem and central nervous system, Dr. Daiki helps restore bodily function and enhance performance through NUCCA care, aiming for natural and optimal health.
He holds the advanced certification of DCCJP (Diplomate in Chiropractic Cranio-Cervical Junction Procedures). With dual certifications in NUCCA and DCCJP, he is one of only three doctors globally to hold both, underscoring his exceptional expertise.
Originally from Tokyo, Dr. Daiki moved to the United States after graduating high school and earned his degree from Palmer College in Iowa. He later established his practice in Chicago, where he trained for 16 years under the guidance of NUCCA pioneers Dr. Marshall Dickholtz Jr. and Dr. Dickholtz Sr., refining his skills through clinical work, research, and development.
Carrying on the legacy of his mentors, Dr. Daiki treats every patient as “family,” guided by a craftsman’s spirit and a commitment to pursuing ever-higher standards of care.
In addition to his clinical practice, he holds numerous significant roles in the U.S. and Japan.
For NUCCA, he serves as a board director, instructor, co-chair of certification and standards, and co-chair of the international relations.
He is also a director of the UCRF (Upper Cervical Research Foundation) and chair of the advanced imaging division for the ICA’s Council on Upper Cervical Care.
In Japan, Dr. Daiki has collaborated with Yoshimoto Kogyo and the RIKEN research institute on advanced studies using fMRI technology. He also serves as a director, advisor, or consultant for various organizations and companies.

脳幹と中枢神経系に影響を与える構造的な「ずれ」を特定し、修正することが専門。自然で最適な健康状態を目指すNUCCAのケアを通じて、身体の機能回復やパフォーマンスの向上をサポートしている。
上位頸椎領域の専門資格であるDCCJP（Diplomate in Chiropractic Cranio-Cervical Junction Procedures）を持つドクターでもある。NUCCAとDCCJPの両方で認定を受けているドクターは世界に3人しかおらず、高度な専門性を有するとこを裏付けている。

Catherine (C.C.) Pujals, Patient Care Coordinator
Catherine (C.C.) Pujals has been a Front Desk Patient Coordinator with HealthSmart since 2018. She learned about HealthSmart though in 2004 after being in a significant car accident. The NUCCA Chiropractic care she received from HealthSmart made a huge difference in her recovery.
C.C. is originally from Queens, New York. She received a Math Degree at St Mary’s College in South Bend Indiana and started her career in computer consulting in Chicago. She has been married to her husband Pedro since 1990. In 1995 she left her career to raise her three sons. Once they were grown, C.C. decided to go back into the workforce. She tried a few different jobs, working for 5 years with Autistic children in the school district as a teacher’s aide, also as a job coach for a young Adult with Down Syndrome. Then she worked in the Health/Life Insurance industry as a Broker. When she heard about the position at HealthSmart she knew it would be a good fit. C.C. loves working with and helping all the patients at HealthSmart and feels the staff is like family.

With over 24 years of dedicated service, Natalie Raczka is the cornerstone of our administrative operations at HealthSmart. As the Office Manager, Natalie ensures seamless day-to-day functioning, combining her wealth of experience with a knack for organization and efficiency.
Natalie’s commitment to excellence and her deep understanding of HealthSmart’s ethos have made her an invaluable asset to our team. Her passion for fostering a positive work environment and her unwavering dedication to supporting her colleagues make her a trusted leader within our organization.
Outside of her role as Office Manager, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and keeping busy with her two daughters and all their sports activities. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching and cheering from the sidelines. As they chase their passions and strive for excellence, she relishes every moment spent supporting them.
